Wix form not sending emails?

Your form looks fine, but new enquiries never reach your inbox. Work through these checks in order. Most cases are fixed by step 2 or 3.

First, check the submissions arrived

1. Send yourself a test.Fill in the form on your live site (not the editor) using a different email address from your own, so it's a real visitor test.
2. Look for it in your dashboard.If the submission shows in your site's dashboard, the form works and only the email is going astray. If it isn't there, skip to the last section.

Then fix the email

1. Check spam and junk.Search for mail from no-reply@wixsiteautomations.com or reply-to@wixforms.com. Mark any you find as not spam.
2. Check who the email goes to.Go to Automations in your site's dashboard, open the automation that sends your form notification, and in the Send an email action check the Recipients field has the right address.
3. Changed your email lately?Changing your Wix account email doesn't update form notifications. Edit each form automation and put the new address in Recipients.
4. Don't send to yourself from yourself.If the sender and the recipient are the same address, change the recipient. Some email providers treat those messages as spam.
5. Allow Wix's sending addresses.In your email settings, add *@automations.ascendbywix.com, *@crm.wix.com and *@wixforms.com to your safe senders (keep the *), then republish the site.
6. Check the contact isn't marked Bounced.Open your contact list. A red Bounced warning means earlier emails failed. Fix the address, or ask your email provider to allow Wix's sending domains.

If submissions aren't arriving at all

1. Republish and test again.Make sure the latest version of the page is published, then submit once more from a phone and a computer.
2. Contact Wix with the details.If an automation ran but nothing arrived, give Wix support the submission date and time and the recipient address.
